Chris Christie is regretting his threat to Donald Trump.

Trump put him in his place after he tried to threaten Trump with jail.

And now Chris Christie knows not to mess with Donald Trump ever again.

Chris Christie has been parroting the talking points of the left-wing corporate media ever since he jumped into the Republican primary.

He has sided with Trump’s Democrat prosecutors who are launching a politically-motivated witch hunt to try to imprison him before he faces off against Joe Biden in the 2024 election.

Now he is delivering awful threats to Trump, saying he is going to be convicted and go to jail.

But he didn’t expect Trump to clap back as hard as he did, and now he is backed into a corner like never before.

Trump isn’t known for backing down from a fight, and he has a real bone to pick with Christie.

After Christie threatened him, Trump mocked him mercilessly and sent a clear message to back off.

Now Chris Christie has learned the hard way never to mess with Donald Trump, or there could be serious repercussions that are unpleasant.

According to Breitbart, “Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ), a candidate for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, predicted Sunday on CNN’s ‘State of the Union’ that former President Donald Trump would ‘be convicted of crimes that are worthy of jail come this spring.’”

Trump heard about this and was not happy. After all, Chris Christie is claiming to be a Republican and is allegedly trying to get Republican votes in the primary. But he is going on CNN and repeating their talking points.

Trump responded forcefully, according to a separate article from Breitbart. “Former President Donald Trump on Friday morning dubbed former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) a ‘Sloppy RINO Dog’ who is disliked by New Hampshire voters, while the 45th president’s campaign also mocked the latest ad from the former governor’s campaign.”

“Trump took to Truth Social to recount Christie’s failed 2016 presidential campaign, which ended after that year’s New Hampshire primary, and contend that New Hampshire voters do not like Christie.”

Christie has not been doing well in the polls, and Trump’s comments about him are surely not going to help.

The article continues, “While Christie is in third place in New Hampshire, he has severe favorability problems in national polls. A YouGov/Economist survey conducted December 9-12 shows that Christie’s favorability rating pings at 22 percent among Republicans, while 62 percent of the 419 Republicans sampled say he is unfavorable — putting him 40 points underwater.”

It’s never good for a presidential candidate to have an approval rating that is 40 points in the tank among their own party’s voters.

It does not seem to bode well for Christie’s presidential prospects.

Chris Christie seems to be angling for a job with CNN or another mainstream media company as their token anti-Trump “Republican.”

But he has his tail between his legs after Trump responded to his insults and smacked him down like never before.
