CNN is having to clean up a tremendous mess that they made.

They were in the midst of a vicious attack on Trump.

But they used one wildly inappropriate word that has created a firestorm.

George Carlin had a very famous comedy bit where he talked about the “7 words you can’t say on TV.”

The premise of the bit was that TV stations are not allowed to use certain swear words on air, otherwise they will find themselves in trouble with the FCC.

CNN is a cable station, so the FCC rules are a bit more relaxed. But they still have to face scrutiny from their viewers if they use offensive language.

They are facing a situation like that right now, as they were so caught up in their anger over Trump that they crossed the line and used a word that offended many people watching.

Now they are getting some unwanted media coverage about this scandal that is making them look bad.

And they are having to clean up the mess that they created by allowing too many unhinged Trump-haters on the air.

According to Breitbart, “Political commentator Scott Jennings said Sunday on CNN’s ‘State of the Union’ that former President Donald Trump is an ‘a**hole’ for asking where his competitor, Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Nikki Haley’s (R-SC) husband was when he was serving overseas in the U.S. military.

“At a campaign rally, Trump said, ‘Where’s her husband? Oh, he’s away. He’s away. What happened to her husband? What happened to her husband? Where is he? He’s gone.’

“Anchor Jake Tapper said, ‘Major Michael Haley is not with his wife because he is serving his country in Africa, where they are fighting terrorism.’ Jennings said, ‘He’s an a**hole.’”

Tapper was taken a back by these comments by Jennings, as he almost certainly knew right off the bat that his network may be in big trouble for this.

Although that word isn’t on the list that the FCC directly prevents them from broadcasting, it still must have been shocking to people at home who may have had their kids watching.

That’s why Tapper was baffled and confused when he heard this word from Jennings, replying with disbelief, “You’re talking about Trump, to be clear?”

CNN’s hatred of Trump and Republicans has gone completely over the line, and it has turned into nothing short of unhinged anger that is now causing problems for the company itself.

They’re inviting guests on who have an emotional hostility towards the man and will say anything or everything to tear him down.

Many people have gotten tired of this act, and CNN’s ratings have suffered ever since Trump left the White House back in 2021.

Episodes like this will not help them recover their viewership to the point where it was when Trump was in office.

CNN has once again had an embarrassing incident involving one of their on-air personalities, and they are having to clean up the mess that he created for their network.
