Democrats’ attempts to remove Trump from the ballot have been derailed.

The Supreme Court smacked down their attempt to guarantee Biden a win in 2024.

And now Trump is celebrating after the Supreme Court handed him a monumental victory.

Democrats are only for “democracy” when their side wins. When the other side is leading in the polls, they are as authoritarian as it gets.

In reality, they are deeply uncomfortable with democracy, because either side can win an election and power shifts frequently.

Since most Democrat politicians are power-hungry tyrants, they want to do anything they can to make it impossible for the other side to compete fairly.

That’s why they are making an attempt to keep Trump off the ballot in various states. They are concerned he could win, and they want to change the rules of the game so that cannot happen.

However, it appears that their strategy is going to fail.

They have taken their efforts to remove Trump from the ballot before multiple judges in various states.

And in the key swing state of Michigan, the state Supreme Court refused to take up their ridiculous lawsuit.

According to the Associated Press, “The Michigan Supreme Court refused Wednesday to immediately hear an appeal of a lower court’s ruling that would allow former President Donald Trump’s name to be on the state’s presidential primary ballot.

“The state Supreme Court said the case should remain before the state court of appeals, and not immediately move to Michigan’s highest court as a liberal group had requested.

“The court said in its order that it ‘is not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed by this Court before consideration by the Court of Appeals.’”

As the AP makes clear, Michigan is far from the only state where Democrats are trying this. In fact, if they had their way, he’d be removed from the ballot in all 50 states.

The article continues, “Dozens of cases hoping to keep Trump’s name off state ballots contend that his actions related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol ran afoul of a clause in the 14th Amendment that prevents anyone from holding office who ‘engaged in insurrection or rebellion’ against the Constitution.”

These are crocodile tears from the Left, as they have proven to hate the Constitution as much as anybody, with their attacks on gun rights and free speech, among others.

Fortunately, Trump has yet to be successfully kicked off the ballot anywhere, and it appears the effort will fail in Michigan.

The article reports, “Court of Claims Judge James Redford rejected their arguments. Redford said in a Nov. 14 order that it was the proper role of Congress to decide the question.”

This is the ruling that the Michigan Supreme Court refused to overturn, and it is a decisive one in favor of Trump’s right to stand for election as a candidate.

Democrats may not believe in the American system of voting to elect leaders, but fortunately it appears that the system will win out over their attempts to destroy it.
