Everything came crashing down for Democrats after Trump’s investigation was canceled.

And Trump celebrated his tremendous victory over the Deep State.

Now Democrats are terrified about what might come next after this bombshell new development.

Jack Smith is the special counsel who has been investigating Trump on behalf of Joe Biden’s Department of Justice.

He is a partisan liberal who is trying to take down the leading Republican presidential candidate to help Joe Biden win the White House unopposed in 2024.

But even Jack Smith has apparently realized that there is nothing to these charges against Trump, and that there is no point in pushing it forward any longer.

The problem for Jack Smith is that he still has to prove his case in front of a jury in order to secure a conviction. And if there is no evidence, then a jury is not going to convict.

That leaves Smith with his hands tied, and very few options to continue the prosecution against Donald Trump.

And he has apparently made the decision to scale back the investigation because of the lack of evidence he has to prosecute the former president.

According to Newsweek, “Special Counsel Jack Smith‘s decision to withdraw a subpoena directed at Save America PAC (Political Action Committee) has raised questions amid the ongoing investigation into efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

“Smith’s office withdrew the subpoena that had sought records about fundraising from the PAC, which is controlled by former President Donald Trump, earlier this month, according to a report from The Washington Post on Tuesday.

“Former President Trump was hit with a federal indictment in August that charged him with four counts related to alleged attempts to obstruct the 2020 election. The charges are conspiracy to defraud the United States, conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding, and conspiracy against rights. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.”

This is horrible news for Joe Biden and his fellow Democrats, who were hoping to walk back into the White House in 2024 with an opponent who is in jail and can’t campaign.

If Jack Smith is scaling back the investigation and withdrawing subpoenas, it makes it far less likely that they will be able to secure a conviction.

The article continues, “The PAC was formed following the 2020 election and raised more than $100 million and has reportedly spent tens of millions of dollars in legal costs for Trump and others associated with the former president amid multiple investigations at the state and federal level.”

Trump and his associates are almost certainly celebrating this new development, as it eases the legal pressure on Trump amid the Democrats’ attempts to railroad him with criminal charges.

It means that Trump can focus on campaigning for the presidency in 2024 instead of worrying about Jack Smith’s investigation.

And that is bad news for the Democrats who had hoped to use the legal system to try to get rid of Trump.
