One judge made a shocking move to attack Donald Trump.

Democrats filed an outrageous case against Trump.

And this judge made a decision that would have destroyed Trump’s campaign.

Democrats have committed themselves to using the legal system to attack the 2024 campaign of Donald Trump and guarantee Biden re-election to the White House.

They see that the polls are not looking good for the incumbent president and they are resorting to criminal charges and frivolous lawsuits to win the election for them.

Many of these cases are coming before judges who are friendly to their cause, which they believe gives them a better chance of succeeding.

And sure enough, some judges, such as the ones on the Colorado Supreme Court, have sided with Democrats in their efforts to strip Trump from the ballot, which is one facet of their strategy to take him down.

Now, yet another judge, this time in Illinois, has attacked Trump from the bench in an effort to take him off the ballot.

And while he hasn’t made a final ruling on the case, he did make a decision about Trump’s supposed “guilt” which he hopes will influence higher courts to rule in favor of the Democrats.

According to Politico, “A judge who heard arguments on whether Donald Trump should be on the Illinois ballot agrees with objectors that the former president took part in the Jan. 6 insurrection and therefore should be shut out of the March 19 primary.”

“In issuing his opinion, retired Republican Judge Clark Erickson said a higher court, not the State Board of Elections, should make the ultimate decision.”

Of course, if Erickson really wanted to defer to a higher court, he could have just left his own opinion out of it.

The fact that he felt the need to speak his mind suggests that he is trying to influence the higher court to rule against Trump.

The article continues, “’A preponderance of the evidence’ proves that Trump ‘engaged in [an] insurrection, within the meaning of Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment,’ Erickson wrote in his nonbinding opinion after hearing attorneys for objectors and Trump make their cases Friday in a State Board of Elections hearing in downtown Chicago.”

“Free Speech for People, the group leading the objections against Trump, praised the opinion, saying, ‘We expect that the board and ultimately Illinois courts will uphold Judge Erickson’s thoughtful analysis of why Trump is disqualified from office.’”

The name of the group challenging Trump’s ability to remain on the ballot is about as Orwellian as it gets, as they clearly do not stand for free speech.

After all, free speech is only as good as the ability of people to use that speech to influence elections, and this group clearly does not believe that candidates they dislike should be able to stand for election.

Trump is under attack from liberal judges and left-wing advocacy groups, and they are hoping through a combination of criminal cases and lawsuits they can take him down.
