Letitia James is going in for the kill.

The lawfare against Trump is out of control.

And Letitia James sprung a surprise that left Donald Trump seeing red.

New York Attorney General Letitia James knew she had nothing she could prosecute Donald Trump for.

The best she could do was weaponize New York’s civil fraud statute for a never-before-seen use to claim Donald Trump essentially defrauded himself by inflating the value of his assets.

No bank complained they were a victim.

Bank executives that testified in Trump’s case told the court they were thrilled to do business with Trump as he paid every loan on time and they earned a profit on the transactions.

But facts, fairness and the law had nothing to do with the outcome in a rigged proceeding.

That’s because the nature of James’ case meant there was no jury trial and an elected Democrat judge named Arthur Engoron would decide the case.

The fix was in from the start.

Judge Engoron played his part by ruling Trump was a fraud before the trial even started and before Trump could present any evidence or witness testimony.

Engoron based this ruling in part on the absurd valuation of Mar-a-Lago between $18 and $27 million when, if Trump put it on the open market tomorrow, it would fetch a price in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Now that the sham trial is over it’s up to Engoron to decide damages.

And James is asking for $370 million, $120 million more than the $250 million she sought at the start of this kangaroo court.

“Attorneys from James’ office requested the punishment in post-trial motions filed Friday in the Trump fraud case. They said that Trump owes $168 million of interest allegedly saved through fraud; $152 million from the sale of the Old Post Office building in Washington, D.C., the site of one of Trump’s hotels; $60 million through the transfer of the Ferry Point Golf Course contract; and $2.5 million from severance agreements for former Trump Organization chief financial officer Allen Howard Weisselberg and ex-Trump Organization controller Jeff McConney,” NBC News reports.

James also wants Engoron to ban Trump for life from the New York real estate market.

“James also called for lifetime bans for Trump, Weisselberg and McConney from participation in the real estate industry as well as from serving as officers or directors in New York corporations or entities. The attorney general also asked for five-year bans for Trump’s eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, with the same conditions,” NBC News also reports.

Trump reacted furiously to the fraudulent case James brought and the sham decision Engoron handed down that was based on nothing more than partisan animus and a desire to exact revenge on Trump for winning the 2016 election.

When Trump tells Americans that Democrats weaponized the justice system against him, he doesn’t just mean the banana republic effort organized by Joe Biden to jail him to prevent Trump from winning the election.

Democrats are also trying to destroy the core of Trump’s image and life by bankrupting his business, forcing him to sell his assets and smearing his reputation by having partisan hacks disguised as judges label him a “fraud.”
