It was a triumphant moment for Donald Trump.

He wiped the floor with the Democrats who tried to come after him in court.

And the judge gave him a massive victory that will change everything.

Democrats simply cannot figure out a way to stop the momentum that Donald Trump has built up over the past year.

They thought they could finish him off completely by bringing indictments against him, but their efforts only served to increase his popularity.

Since then, Trump is the all-but-certain nominee for the Republican Party, in spite of the fact that Democrats are still trying to press criminal charges against Trump at the state and federal level.

They have had to face a cold, hard reality, which is that voters no longer believe any of the dishonest attacks that they launch against Donald Trump.

Now their only recourse is to try to convince judges to put Trump in jail before Election Day, so that he no longer has a chance to campaign and win over new voters.

But even that effort is going off the rails now, as a judge has once again delayed Trump’s trial.

According to the Associated Press, “A federal judge in Washington formally postponed Donald Trump’s March trial on charges of plotting to overturn the 2020 election as a key legal appeal from the former president remains unresolved in the courts.

“U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan on Friday vacated the March 4 trial date in the case brought by Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith but did not immediately set a new date.”

This must have come as a tremendous surprise to Democrats, since Chutkan was an Obama appointee who they almost certainly expected to rule with them.

But she made an objective decision that led her to push back the date of the trial, something Trump and his team have been seeking.

The article continues, “For both sides, timing is of the essence. Trump, who faces four indictments and 91 felony counts, is looking to push his criminal cases back as he enjoys front-runner status in the race for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. Smith’s team, meanwhile, is hoping to be able to prosecute Trump this year before the November election. If Trump is elected while the case is pending, he could presumably order the Justice Department to drop it and could potentially try to seek a pardon for himself.”

Democrats have to be pulling their hair out with frustration at their inability to put a stop to Trump’s march back to the White House.

Every time they thought they had him backed into a corner, he turned the tables on them and left them reeling and stunned.

Now they are in desperation mode, trying to convince judges to jail him by any means possible before he has a chance to get himself elected in November.

But one judge, appointed by Obama no less, has pushed the case back yet again, making it less likely than ever before that Trump is jailed before the election.
