Donald Trump is playing chess while the Democrats are playing checkers.

He pulled off a sneak attack that his prosecutors never expected.

And now he has managed to undermine the entire case against him.

The Democrats are launching as many attacks on Donald Trump in as many states as they possibly can, no matter how small or insignificant his supposed “offenses” are.

They are even going after him for allegedly claiming that his wealth is higher than it is, something that people do all the time without getting in legal trouble.

But the difference is that Donald Trump is public enemy number one for Joe Biden, the Democrats, and the politically motivated prosecutors.

And they are hoping that all of these cases against him are enough to bury him so that Joe Biden can skate to re-election in 2024 with no real competition.

However, what the Democrats didn’t expect was for Trump to outsmart them in the courtroom. They thought they had him dead to rights, but it hasn’t turned out that way at all.

And he just launched a sneak attack that undermined their whole case by refusing to testify.

According to NPR, “Former President Donald Trump says he will not be testifying as planned in the civil trial over allegations that he lied about his wealth.”

“Trump took the stand last month, but was slated to testify for the defense on Monday.”

Here is what Trump had to say on Truth Social: “I HAVE ALREADY TESTIFIED TO EVERYTHING & HAVE NOTHING MORE TO SAY OTHER THAN THAT THIS IS A COMPLETE & TOTAL ELECTION INTERFERENCE (BIDEN CAMPAIGN!) WITCH HUNT, THAT WILL DO NOTHING BUT KEEP BUSINESSES OUT OF NEW YORK, I WILL NOT BE TESTIFYING ON MONDAY.”

By avoiding testifying in the case, Trump is making a smart move to not give the prosecutors any rope that they can hang him with.

They had been preparing for this entire case under the assumption that he would testify, and now they are scrambling to devise a new strategy.

The article continues, “Trump was slated to be the final witness for the defense team following a slew of accountants and other expert witnesses.”

“Testimony from the Trump children — Eric, Donald Jr. and Ivanka — laid the blame of the fraudulent financial documents onto others, such as the accounting firm the Trump Organization worked with.”

This case is obviously nothing more than a political hit job, as virtually nobody else would be subjected to a trial over something like this.

But the prosecutors aren’t actually concerned about combatting wealth inflation, they are trying to put Trump in jail at the behest of the Democrats.

After Trump’s smart play to avoid testifying in the trial, it is looking like their goal of imprisoning him is nothing more than a pipe dream, and he has his prosecutors exactly where he wants them.

Donald Trump is outsmarting his prosecutors at every turn, and it appears he is going to defeat them in a court of law.
